Virtual Tour of Sir John Soane's Museum
1 Apr 2020, 10 a.m. - 27 Dec 2023, 6 p.m.

Virtual Tour and 3D Scans at Sir John Soane's Museum.
On his death in 1837 Soane left his house and collection to the nation stipulating that it should be preserved as it was at that time and that it should be kept open and free for the public's inspiration and education.
A programme of meticulous conservation and restoration over the last 30 years will ensure it remains, as one of Soane's friends described it, 'permanently magical' for generations to come.
Explore Soane continues this ambition in a new, powerful way.
We are using the latest in 3D technology to scan and digitise a wide selection of Museum rooms and objects – including Soane's Model Room, and the ancient Egyptian sarcophagus of King Seti I.
We will be adding more rooms, and works of art, in the future to inspire and educate, exactly as our founder wished – with a whole new level of interaction.
